Probable Cause
DTSB: The DTSB determines the Probable Cause of this accident to be Pilot Error, in that the pilot had already attempted one landing and had gone around. On his second attempt a second go-around was initiated and the aircraft pitch was allowed to be raised above the critical angle of attack. The probable cause of this accident is the pilots inability to properly perform a go-around from a low speed, full flap, landing trim flight condition.
NTSB: NONE
Recommendation
DTSB: The DTSB recommends that all pilots of all aircraft rehearse and be conditioned to apply the proper response in the event of a surprise go around from the landing configuration.
