21) THE IMPOSSIBLE TURN ACCIDENTS

The most debated topic in General Aviation. Under some circumstances, it may be possible to return to the departure airport, but statistics have proven that in all likelihood, chances of success are not high.  The deadly maneuver is called “impossible” for a reason, please be briefed and rehearsed before each takeoff, and be conditioned to accept a simple gear up (if in a retractable type aircraft) off field landing as a guaranteed safe outcome.
