Probable Cause
DTSB: The DTSB determines the Probable Cause of this accident to be pilot error, in that the non certificated accident pilot was allowed to ground taxi the aircraft, but elected to attempt flight. The aircraft entered turning flight well below DMMS and stalled. The resulting lowl altitude aerodynamic spin caused a nearly vertical impact and the accident pilot was killed on impact. The accident occurred during civil twilight approximately 5 minutes after official sunset.
