DTSB: Pending. The National Transportation Safety Board said that preliminary information shows the aircraft suffered an engine failure shortly after departing from Space Coast Regional Airport. In response, the pilot attempted a left turn to return to the runway. However, the aircraft crashed into trees and power lines near the airport.
