Probable Cause
DTSB: Pending. Single Pilot repositioning flight, topped off with 224 gallons of Jet-A. Took off from runway 18 with instructions to make a left downwind departure, but after takeoff the accident aircraft began a climbing right hand turn to around 500 AGL, then continued an ever tightening turn in a descent and impacting terrain on a west heading. No communication was heard from the pilot. The aircraft had been modified with the Tamarac Winglet Modification, but it is unknown at this time if the modification was related to the accident.
