Probable Cause
DTSB: The DTSB determines the Probable Cause of this accident to be Pilot Error, in that the pilot was performing aerobatics too low to the ground. The aircraft entered an inverted flat spin and could not recover prior to impact.

DTSB: The DTSB recommends that all pilots of all aerobatic aircraft establish safe operating floors which would be sufficiently high enough to be able to recover from inadvertent aerodynamic scenarios, which may take some time to get out of.
