Probable Cause
DTSB: Pending. The accident pilot received fresh third class medical in April 2020. The medical is a special issuance and not valid after April 2021. The aircraft encountered storms, IMC, and low visibility while trying to reach Jonesboro, AR The non instrument trained accident pilot became spatially disoriented in heavy IMC and flew a descending turning spiral into open terrain without being able to see the earth.
